Yes - I remember those buses. When I was 11 I took a greyhound bus from LA to Eugene Oregon. It was about a 24 hour trip with stops and all. I doubt that now days anyone would put an 11 year old girl on a bus alone. But I thought it was fun. And a beautiful drive.
